On June 30, the first flights abroad will take off. Ready for the adventure!
On June 1, the final meeting for participants enrolled in the Courses Abroad 2024 was held at Finca Tamarit. The meeting began at 10:30 am with the delivery of documentation to the participants as they arrived. They were given their T-shirts and backpacks, which they will have to wear on the day of the trip to be easily recognized at the airport. At 11:00h, the families went to the hall to start the meeting.
First of all, the entire management team was presented, both the administrative team and the monitors who will accompany the students in groups in this great experience. During the presentation, very important issues to be taken into account were emphasize before and during the stay in another country. The student's guide was explained in detail so that the families would have all the relevant programming and information: necessary documentation, currency exchange, medication, luggage, course rules and the functioning of communication between family, student and administration. The differences between the courses were specified con residential accommodation y family, the different activities that participants will carry out at their destination and the insurance cover included in the course.
Once the general briefing was over, the participants were divided into small groups according to destination. This allowed for a more concrete and in-depth approach to concerns and questions about the course, providing more personalised attention and taking into account the needs and interests of each student.
To end the day, all the participants enjoyed an aperitif in the garden. It was the perfect moment for the students to get to know their future companions in this adventure, talk to the monitors and resolve any doubts in a more relaxed atmosphere.
The first individual departures start on 30 June and on 7 July the first group will fly to Bournemouth. The excitement, the nerves, the impatience and the desire to learn can be felt in the air!
