Limerick is the third biggest city in Ireland, at about two and a half hours from Dublin, on the west coast.

It's known for it's viking origins and a more than interesting history.  The city lies on the river Shannon, so our students will be able to discover a less known area of Ireland.

Limerick University is more or less 4km away from the city center, where our students will study and be accommodated.  The premises are excellent for those active students who love sports, as the campus has it's own olympic swimmingpool, a climbing wall and a great number of indoor and outdoor playing fields.

AGE

This course to study English in Ireland in summer is aimed at children and young people from 12 to 17 years old.

COURSE

Students who choose this course to study English in Ireland take a placement test on the first day to place them in classes depending on their level and age.

This course has been designed to improve spoken English and practice it in all activities. All classes have a maximum of 15 students and at the end of the course they are given a certificate and a Personal Progress Report.

Students do 15 hours of English a week, divided into mornings and afternoons. The course also includes two full-day excursions a week, one half-day excursion and a full program of sports, cultural visits and activities.

Focus: In addition to the 15 hours of English classes, students may choose to take an additional 5 hours of English classes, instead of doing 2 activities, at no additional cost.

This option must be reserved in advance, if possible.

It is recommended that students bring a small dictionary and their own teaching material.
