LANGUAGE COURSE

Family Integration & Tourism: This immersion programme is tailored to the needs of each student. The families are located in Northern Ireland, in different locations. The families are chosen according to the student's profile and needs. It is recommended that participants have an intermediate level of English in order to be able to communicate fluently with their host family. This type of programme offers the student the opportunity to get to know the country and its culture, the family will organise at least 2 activities per week related to tourism. Activities will vary according to the geographical location of the host family but popular outings usually include: Giant's Causeway, Titanic Belfast, Ulster Museum, Ulster Folk and Transport Museum, Portrush, Dunluce Castle and many others.

The rest of the time with the host families is spent participating in regular family life: family or friend gatherings, going to the supermarket, watching films and playing sport are just a few ideas of what the host families might do on a daily basis.

Family Integration & Golf: this programme, like the tourism programme, is based on living with a local family but in addition the participant will attend a local golf academy from Monday to Wednesday every week from 09:00 h to 12:00 h.

Training at the camp is provided by PGA professionals and the golf club facilities include driving range, putting green, short game area and two golf courses. The focus is on making golf fun and improving technique.

Families will drop off and pick up camp participants daily.

Family Integration & Football; in addition to the daily interaction with local families, the participant will be able to attend the football camp every day of the week from 09:00 h to 15:30 h. The camp is very popular with local children, so in this case we recommend booking this course well in advance.

Coaching at the camp is provided by IFA qualified coaches and involves the opportunity to play many matches, as well as ball master classes, penalty shootouts etc.

Families will drop off and pick up camp participants daily.

Family Integration & Sailing; The camp takes place at one of the oldest and most prestigious sailing clubs in Northern Ireland.

Sailing courses are held Monday to Friday from 09.00h to 16.00h. Participants are divided according to their sailing ability. Boats used on the course include Optimists, Toppers and Lasers. No previous sailing experience is required, but participants must be competent swimmers and we ask all participants to advise us of their approximate level of experience at the time of registration.
