OXFORD (R) COURSE WITH GROUP LEADER

SUMMER PROGRAMME IN ENGLAND WITH FLIGHT AND GROUP LEADER

This English course is for students who want to experience firsthand the experience of studying at a university in Oxford. The Oxford Brookes Wheatley campus is located about 9km from the city center and an hour or so from the city of London.

The center is surrounded by extensive fields and gardens in a very quiet area. The facilities are modern and offer students maximum efficiency and comfort. Study English in England and have a great time!

 Our monitor will fly with the students from Barcelona airport to Gatwick airport, where they will be picked up by school staff, who will accompany them to the residence hall.

AGE

This summer course is aimed at children from 12 to 17 years old.

ENGLISH COURSE 

English & Activities: The course is 16.7 hours of English per week. Students take a level test the first day to place them in classes depending on their level, age and maturity. The course has been designed to improve spoken English and practice it in all activities. At the end of the course they are given a certificate and a Personal Progress Report.

5 hours per week of Language Options are added to the English course:

English & Performing Arts: For two afternoons a week, students who choose this option will be able to practice English through specialized theater and dance vocabulary. They will hold singing, dancing and theater workshops. At the end of the course, they will present a play or dance that they have previously been rehearsing.

Exam Skills: This option is aimed at helping to understand the operation of the official Cambridge exams (FCE and CAU), IELTS and the American SAT system. Through grammar, listening and speaking exercises, he will give students a notion of how to pass these exams while deepening the aspects already learned in the previous class.

University Studies: the perfect choice for those studying to study at a British university. This option includes visits to Oxford universities and specific talks on how to prepare for access to such universities.

English & Magic: this course option is designed for lovers of the world of magic and Harry Potter. 

Aside from the 4.7 pm general English courses, 5 hours a week of specific magic world classes will be added, based on the world of Hogwarts and its students. The afternoon activities have also been designed for witches. The course includes excursions to the famous 9 3/4 platform among many more. Course available between 03/8 and 10/8.
