Maynooth is a municipality of about 8,500 inhabitants, 30 minutes from the center of Dublin. It is a typical Irish town, with a university and youth atmosphere ideal for an English course in Ireland in the summer.

Maynooth University is located just 5 minutes walk from the center of town and consists of two very different campuses between them, mixing new and old architecture. Students will be able to study English in Ireland and make the most of the facilities; Very spacious and well-equipped classrooms, comfortable rooms with private baths and excellent sports fields with tennis, hockey and soccer courts.

AGE

This course to study English in Ireland in summer is aimed at children and young people from 12 to 17 years old.

COURSE 

Students who choose this course to study English in Ireland take a placement test on the first day to place them in classes depending on their level and age.

This course has been designed to improve spoken English and practice it in all the organized activities. All classes have a maximum of 15 students and at the end of the course they are given a certificate and a Personal Progress Report.

They include grammar and vocabulary lessons, English practice.

Students do 15 hours of English a week, divided into mornings and afternoons. The course also includes two full-day excursions a week, one half-day excursion and a full program of sports, cultural visits and activities.

Focus: In addition to the 15 hours of English classes, students may choose to take an additional 9 hours of English classes, instead of doing 2 activities, at no additional cost.

It is recommended that students bring a small dictionary and their own teaching material.
