Residence: The rooms are from 2 to 4 students, with shared bathrooms. Accommodation is separated by both age and sex. The residence includes the use of towels and bed linen.
There is a staff member in each hall. The laundry works with a coin system, make sure clothes can be washed at 40 degrees and tumble dried. All clothing must be marked with the student's name. The regime is full board with 3 meals and packed lunch on excursions. On the first day of the course, the organization collects the pocket money from the students and saves it, without this constituting an additional expense. Students can withdraw the amount they want in a few days and at a specific time.
On the first day of the English course in Wesley, Ireland, all students will be asked for a deposit of 50€ which will be returned on the last day if they have not caused any damage to the facilities.Family: Students studying English in Ireland on this course stay with families residing at Ballinteer. Those students who live close to the school will be able to walk to school, while those who live further away will have to take a bus ride. The student is obliged to have breakfast and dinner with the host family (meals will be in the school canteen and “packed lunch” on Thursdays and Saturdays). In the event that a student does not respect these rules, they will receive a warning from the school. All families are strictly supervised by members of the school. During the busier period in the summer, students may have to share accommodation with someone of the same nationality.
Those students who choose this summer course in Ireland to study English and who need a specific diet (gluten-free, lactose-free, vegan, etc.) must pay a supplement of 50€ per week.
Students will have permission to go out unsupervised once they had dined with their families (children between 12 and 13 years old until 9:00 p.m. and those over 14 until 10:00 p.m.), although it is the host family that may decide to modify this schedule if they see it convenient. Parents can always make a written request to prevent the student from leaving in the afternoon.
